Sometimes I have revelations, and most of the time I fail to practice what I preach to myself. I missed out on being a happy 15 & 16 year old. Both years were stressful and I tried to make up for it by fitting in with everyone else because I thought that was how I would gain those years back.
Those times are over, however. It's all in the past and I refuse to dwell on it and constantly think of what I could have done to make the situation better. I got tired of trying to fit in because it was killing my creativity, so I had another revelation... and this time, I DID practice what I preached.
I want to be able to express myself through my art without being forced to through a career. Creativity, unfortunatley, can't just shoot out of your ass anytime, and at any place.
It needs to be treated tenderly, and given time to find its flow and purpose.
Go ahead, call me crazy. Say I'm on drugs.
I just know what I feel inside when I create, and now that I've gained both my artistic passion and my level of stable mentality back, It's brought me closer to my ideas and brought out so much hidden inspiration.
Now that I'm happy with myself, I can finally help others.
I believe art and music can be used to heal the mind, body, soul... and especially the heart.
I want to meet my goals and do what I always knew I could do in the first place. I just got lost and it took some time to find myself again.

WOW. I'm still trying to process this lol.
So, here's the deal.
My deviation "Morrigan Portrait II" got featured on the official Dragon Age facebook page for Morrigan Monday! :)
I'm excited and nervous at the same time, but I know there's always going to be negative comments no matter what.
My Morrigan cosplay isn't even in its mature stages yet, it's always been a work in progress.
I haven't been able to do much on advancing my Morrigan cosplay due to the following reasons:
1. I've been very busy with life in general.
2. I'm in the middle of a very huge move.
3. ....NO MONEY. :P

Right now, I'm just focusing on depression and stress issues, so sorry if I'm not very active.
I've needed a break for a long time. I stopped worrying about school, people, work, and just started focusing on being happy.
Because, in the end, that's all that matters.
I'm also collaborating with a few writers on a Science Fiction novel, and I'm really honored to be working with them both because I look up to them so much. They're both amazing authors.

This has honestly been the best day of my life, because I've discovered who my real friends are.
I'll have a new number, a new address, and I'll be nothing but a ghost.
A faded, unreachable memory to those who are gone from my life.
Those who are better off gone.
It's a fresh start, and it feels so good.<3
